Tasting :
Its colour is pale yellow with greenish hints and the wine is bright and limpid.
Its fresh bouquet is discreetly fruity, with a hint of peach, apple and some floral notes, perfect primary aromas with no flamboyance.
Pinot Blanc is a wine that opens up quickly. Soft and agreeable with average acidity, it is the all-purpose favourite among Alsace wines.
Food pairing :
Pinot Blanc is ideal with starters but also some main dishes. It goes nicely with simple, authentic food : fish, white meat, poultry and egg-based dishes (poached egg, omelette, quiche) and all soft cheeses (creamed gruyere, fromage frais…)
